Yeah, its always crowded, but there are a handful of waves in each direction that are pretty epic. If it is THAT bad at lowers, I would just go up or down. You are still dealing with almost perfect, cobblestone waves... It certainly does suck having to time every single turn so you don't run someone over on the face of the wave. It's amazing how many people just paddle right back out in a straight line there to avoid the stones. So lame.
