nah, not buying it. i do think we'll be getting something, as it's been setting up on the models & forecast guidance since early last week. could be messy, but i don't see it being anything worse than anything else we've seen this winter. air temps are forecast to be in the low 40s/high 30s, so i doubt much snow will stick. might even just be rain here. could be some quality surf the day after, though. so that's nice.
heres to good surf wednesday; also a front crossing; (NJ) things could get interesting IF we are graced with off shores this weekend….
bring it on - 3 surf sessions in last 7 days - WAY above average so keep it coming. heres' to an ALL TIME spring - the falcon water still like 29 deg or something…my skin was buzzing 2 hrs after i got out of water today.
I don't think we are getting a major snow storm from it. that's just the weather industry trying to squeeze out some more advertising dollars/rating for the winter season. maybe we get some swell...
Had some snow-sleet mix here today (3/23) around 5:30 PM. Didn't last long. Got up to around 80 yesterday, but it turned being not much of a weekend here for surfing.
w/c guy just said off coast of maine 119 mph gust…!!!!!!!!!! he said had the storm traveled 200 miles west it would have been a 'crippling blizzard"….
Holy crap mang. CT got nuthin. Zip. Some 15mph wind, thats it. Watching my local cam right now tho. Pumpin chest high. I heard that there was 35 footers reported off the cast of MV. INSANE!!!!! And holy crap!!!! 119!!!!! Thats worse than sandy!!! I think......
