Figure 3. Predicted wave heights for 5 pm EDT Wednesday, September 12, 2018, from the 6z (2 am EDT) Thursday run of the WaveWatch III model. This model, which uses the GFS model as input, predicts that large swells from Hurricane Florence will begin impacting the U.S. East Coast from North Carolina to Massachusetts beginning on Sunday. Waves as high as 40 feet are predicted for the offshore waters of the Mid-Atlantic by Wednesday, September 12. Image credit: Levi Cowan, tropicaltidbits.com.

Florence has shifted west again. No bueno for NC, SC, mid Atlantic:, nyc.

    Flhurricane.com:

“06z GFS run going now: It also shifted left.and has a Cape Hatteras landfall Thursday morning as a cat 3/4, then up the Chesapeake bay to Washington, DC/Baltimore, then turns back out over New York City into the Atlantic by Saturday morning:

(from Matthew 2016 but appropriate now, not sure how many of your are NBA fans) Good luck everyone, hope she stays off shore so the only problems she causes is getting off work to surf!

Get some Stabil 360 and add an ounce to your fuel. It will recondition your fuel in the tank and clean it so it will run like a Honda should - and stay that way when you put it back in limbo until winter.

Just ran all the old gas out of my Craftsman El Cheapo Model 7000. Just aboot five minutes ago. Putt putt putt..... I hear SeaFoam is a good gas conditioner. Anyone use it? Gonna get new shiny gas in a couple weeks when things get fierce down here.

    Coastal Carolinians....be safe ya'll!
