    Ng for outer banks...

Wasn't it about 10/15 yrs ago that they had a fairly bad hurricane that really wrecked everything? I don't remember, but recall going down there surfing a year later and things wherent right

I’m stressing way more about this one than I have in the last 15 years.

Looks like a favorite place to visit and surf is going to get some bad conditions this week. Thinking about you people in Carolina Beach, Wrightsville, Surf City/ Topsail; that entire area looks like it is in for it bad. Good luck and stay safe.

A repeat of hurricane Fran? Possibly worse...

It looks more serious than anything I've ever seen.. if it follows the predictive Euro-track.

They're comparing this one to Hazel back in the 1950's. I'm going to be under a mandatory evac. Just hoping I have a home to come back to :/

Yeah, I wouldn't play around with this one, especially if you live in the predicted landfall zone. She's set to tear the Carolinas a new azzhole...if it turns north, were headed to my family farm in the mountains.

Headhigh, is THAT the actual storm???
I’ve been in a vacuum for a week - thinking it was just gonna blow over but I guess not! My thoughts and prayers to all our brethren and their families in those places. I say all the time “I LOVE THIS $(&T”
But man I dont like people hurtin or loosing things no matter how good the surfing.

Florence is Floyd’s rain with Fran’s wind damage. We in NC are in for it.

I have a feeling it tracks North and hits the outer banks as opposed to Wilmington.

WUnderground blog says chance of 15-20' storm surge in NC. Hard to imagine.

I guess it's one way to reduce the amount of alligators along the coast...

Praying for you all in the path of Florence. Nobody panic though. Just be prepared, be safe, and be smart about your plans. Stay positive though, more times than not the damage is not as bad as they predict. There’s usually a deviation in the projected path at the last minute so keep the faith that it will happen with this one.

Good looks DP. I will add that this thing commands attention for all of the SE through the mid Atlantic. Don’t take your eye off the ball.

Seriously, Cat 2+ along coast where it hits and a shit ton of rain on an already soiled mid Atlantic. Flooding could be monumental. Stay calm but don’t be naive!

I have peeps in north FL, HHI SC, Wilmington, Wanchese, nags Head, kitty hawk, and up in to VA. I hope all come out of this unscathed.

I’m taking this thing very serious.

Headhigh, Tard, and others to my south, be safe! NE NC and SE VA brothers don’t sleep on this...alright?

And don’t forget your Chinese food!
