ALL THE FRICK'N TIME. At the beach, camping, around the campfire, hiking, boating, ballgames, church service, weddings, funerals, driving, at the checkout counter, restaurant, bar, while on dates, at the movies, "multi-tasking" at the urinal, sitting on the pot...Really?? Put the damn thing down! You're missing life as it's happening around you. Can't even use a compass or read a map. It's the current addiction. Replaced smoking.
Cyber life is certainly a distraction from real life. Like anything in life, we need to find a balance, or real life will pass us by, and that would be shameful.
Go to a bar, half of the people are on thier phones, at a stoplight, on thier phones, out to dinner on thier phones. iam guilty of this at times...hell, if my kids are upstairs, I text my kids dinner time rather then yelling to them. It's strange, because it's a relatively new phenomenon...what will be next.
Ever notice a group of people not using their phones and then one rings and they all take them out and start using them even though they know its not their ring tone? It's like Pavlov's dog's or something.
