I here ya, but I do have to say that in this economy especially, we need to support the core surf companies. Ultimately, you would hope that supporting the core shops and companies will keep the surfing culture that does exist alive rather than allowing corporate to move on in. The corporate that has no real interest in surfing besides the money they can make off it.

    Age ole topic:

This topic always comes up and has liable arguments presented. First off, surfers sometimes have an attitude that they do want to buy clothes from the surf shops because they are to much money. Point well taken. Honestly, I haven't shopped at a surfshop for clothes in years. Can't afford to. I do stick to one shop for all my "surfing" needs. Tracktion padz, surfboards, finz, leashes, wetsuits and wax I go to kcoast. My clothes are shirts and ties from kohls and when I 'm not surfing, I am bumming it. So Kalen hits some points as well as swellinfo hits some. I support local shops for what I need. What I don't need, just comes in the form as lefts over sweats from guarding and white t's that were under my dress clothes. All-in-all, support your local shop. And Kalen says, "Charge!" And where is the pics of the glassers pulling in?

Yeah sorry I didn't make it to the lecture or for the surf session. Work is killing me right now and working about 65 - 80 hours a week. That ends next Wednesday as my toes get wet on the mainland of Mexico.

    Oh oh

Watch out everyone- Sponger Love Fest. Where's the Festivus fer the rest of us? It would seem that as far as no glass rider photos are concerned, spongers take photos of spongers, and vice versa, so your point was??? It all sounds like a rant to me.

One question- is it possible for spongers to go backside? Or even frontside fro that mater.

It seems to me that if you are posting on here trying to give **** to bodyboarders you might not have even read kalens post all the way through... either that or your dumb as ****.

Are you cooler than a sponger cause you stand up??

Or do you not care what others do and just respect people for there passion for what they do? passion to get better? surf every winter swell? What difference does it make what you ride?

For proof of this go check kalens site out... he has standup surfers and bodyboarders on there... Along with Kalen showing love for both surfers and bodyboarders we have Matt Clarks sick year review and shots featuring both types of wave riders as well...

I know this isn't gonna change what a lot of people think... but damn... at least read the article all the way through...

    Sincerely,
