those big asz tiger and bulls spend quality time off my beach and breed here too. ive caught the big ones out in the sounds. hell probably almost lost my leg during the week of irene when i got slammed by a shark. i was standing in water up to my nips when i got hit so hard my leg went numb. i was on a 9,6 thank god, so i had hell of a adrenaline rush and was about to get my leg up on the board. i lost feeling in it and the rest of my 3 limbs went up in the air. that was the only time ive gotten out of the water and have not gone back in. i mean my leg was in crazy pain for 15 minutes. ive been swimming, boogin, fishin, surfing in the waters around here since i was 4 or 5, so i mean it was only a matter of time till i had a close call. makes me cringe just thinking about that ****. that shark had to have been huge and was probably drunk.

viva la south our sharks are bigger badder and more hungry. they attack twice as many people and kill all sorts of ****. if we had a war of sharks the Confederate sharks of america would kick those yankee sharks ass.

So, if chest high, glassy groundswell was forecast for Oak Island tomorrow (yeah, that'll be the day), how many of you guys would paddle out?

What about a ray? (not tryin to discredit your story) Last year I had my boat out in the bay and the damn sting rays were jumping out of the water all around me. They are solid

I got bumped by something large in Corolla, NC. Friggin spring's always friggin spring man.

    Got me leg, too, Blasters.

I didn't get hit hard but I was bumped and lifted-up. And then that was it.

Man the adrenaline was pumping like never before.

Thankfully I was ten yards from the beach, as it was a BS 1-2' day, and I was just messing around out there because I was high.

I was off my board just kind of "floating" upright, but diagonal, in aboot waist-to-chest deep water.

After it happened, I scrambled to shore and gawked at the sea.

Saw nothing. The ocean then appeared spooky and mysterious, not descriptions usually made for a sunny 1 foot day.

Water was unusually murky that day. So like Sgt Shultz, I saw nothing.

All my shark encounters happened in NC.

Oh, besides one experience in OCMD. And one questionable episode in Nueve Yersey........big big big big shadow passed by, all of a sudden every fiber of my being went into a no-Xanax panic screaming, "GET OUT!!" So I don't know aboot that one.

    Sharks are fun !!

Chest high and clean? Yeah i'd be on it pretty much anywhere. Sharks are a part of the ocean. If you worry bout them you miss a lot of good waves.

nope our rays are small but did see a 4 foot one once in a harbor. at the speed it hit and i could feel the ruffness of it had to be a shark or dolphin. but i doubt a dolphin would do that since they got sonar.

that sounds even worse getting lifted up like that i would go home and down a 750ml bottle of jack....nvm wild turkey if anyone hasnt had wild turkey honey give it a try blows away jack honey. we got so many sharks down in the carolinas. one thing about new jersey thats good is yall dont have a bunch of sharks. besides that freak bull shark that went up that river killing people in 1908? 1906? but i mean thats a buzz kill right there. but i mean i guess it depends on what you were high on. i mean if it was pot yeah that could kill it. some crack not really sure. some dope you would still be high just freaked. some beer you would just go have another. some meth you would be sure if that happened or not? some ambien where am i? some pcp you would try and fight the shark.

havnt u people ever watched shark week lol?its not that complicated.sharks live there!!!!!!!!!

enter at ur own damn risk and stop blaming sharks.i just watched a video on good morning America where a completely novice person jumped in the water with like 20 reef sharks ranging from 6ft-10ft just to show how to scare them away.the sharks were literally jumping on top of the guy.just push them away.

best bet is when u see a shark and its coming near u,swim underneath it.they look for food on the surface, not down below.and when they do bite, its simply a taste.but yea that taste will likely take ur arm off and hell swim away.and if ur going to surf and see fishermen on the pier, maybe walk down a few blocks to the next spot.people see people fishing and think yea this is a good place to go out.retards.

u can survive an encounter with mary lee,hop in ur car and drive home and get killed by a drunk driver.does that mean we should get rid of cars, maybe even have car - metal soup?shyt happens people, join the party
