This shot was posted for the March 28th swell in PR. It's from aurasurf.com, a dude who used to live in St. Petersburg and relocated a few years ago to PR. There is also a blog and a few more pics on the site. Surfline just did a story on it too. Anyone else find any good shots from this swell? Post em up.
I just left the Caribbean a couple days before that swell hit. Was supposed to be the swell of the winter.
Garrett McNamara and some other guys were here at Tres Palmas. Standout locals were ripping. Had I known I would have driven over to watch. Friday was supposedly the peak at (supposedly 18-20') and Saturday (12-15'). Unconfirmed 'cause I wasn't there, but that's what I heard this morning at the beach.
