He's in great shape, he'll be able to go all 12 but I have a feeling he won't need it. Floyd's going down! Glove size definitely matters, but only to Floyd, he's got brittle hands and he also doesn't want to get hit by Conor with 8oz gloves on, if that left gets through, it's over.
Jerking off two dudes at once. I cant wait to see him get dropped in round 2
didn't know they were going to 12 rounds. I wouldn't bet against Mayweather. I also don't think this will hurt is record if he did lose. if he did, i bet Mayweather would figure out how to put an asterisk on it or sumtin
Lol It's a technique used to get the blood flowing in the arms / hands / shoulders, and loosen up so he thrown them bombs. Yeah, the smart bet is Mayweather, on paper he should win this but I have faith in this kid, I think he has the potential to win.
http://www.realclearlife.com/sports/mayweather-mcgregor-may-floyds-boring-fight-yet/ Saw this today about the fight and thought it was pretty interesting. Two people involved with pro boxing (and one who has made the jump to mma) offering their views.
Connor screwed up letting paulie come over. Round 2. Floyd wins by KO OR Connor's MMA instinct kicks in while he's getting his ass whopped and gets DQ'd
I love Teddy Atlas' analysis on each fight. he really gets into it, dude's great for boxing. from what i read, not this article, mayweather's bettors are putting down 6 g's but they are only a tenth of the bets. the rest is on mcgregor but they're like hundo bills from the middle class folk, hoping for big payouts. so if you see a lot of ppl betting on mcgregor, it only takes one or two guys to tip that scale back in mayweather's end. it's hard for me to predict a knockout (anyone remember mayweather knocking the guy out when they usually tap gloves, two "villians" in one ring means it works both ways), but i'm going to say Mayweather in the 5th rd. i still don't think this should count as a win or loss for Mayweather, as Rocky Marciano's kid says as well. i've got three guesses as far as fighter entourages appearances go: inflatable t-rex, captain obvious, and Conan Obrien
I heard McGregor is sparring like any idiot. Sparring with the same guy for 12 rounds to prepare himself. A real boxer spars with one guy for 3 rounds then gets a new fresh guy for 3 rounds and so on and so forth. Just what i heard on tv, who knows if its true or if it will matter. But its a boxing match, and that's not how boxers get ready for 12 rounds
lets get realistic! ones a pro boxer and the other isn't! forget about the what ifs and mma that! its a boxing match which means cmac has 0 and I mean 0 chance sat night! don't get me wrong, I'm irish and would love to see cmac lose his temper and kick that loser in the face, jump on him and get in a couple wacks before it got broken up! I will quit this silly love affair with S.I. if cmac wins! that will only happen if Mayweather doesn't take it serious and acts like apollo! we all know what happened, ROCKY took care of business!
As Sugar Ray said recently "Mayweather is 40", things don't work like they did once you hit 40." FM dominates the first 6 rounds, but CM can take a punch and withstands it. He lands a brutal shot in the 7th and it is over. CM wins.
Mayweather is going to win.if it was a mma match id be conor.all it takes is 1 solid hit to land from Mayweather and conor will be the floor doing the harlem shakes
Floyd quote " I only win. I never lose. I can't even spell the word lose." I totally believe him. He is illiterate and cannot spell.
In all serious though: Floyd just gotta dance and keep his gloves up. He can block every Conor punch thrown. Wait until the people got their money's worth, then strike. It ain't gunna be pretty.
