I hyper extended my elbow. Wish I could say it was during a fight when my spinning backhand missed, or during a grab rail ollie double mac twist off the coping, but it happened in bed. Not during sex. Just rearranging the blankets while half asleep. Yup, old age sucks. I have been moving so I have been doing a lot of lifting and toting heavy bins and large objects lately, and stepped up my swimming and circuit training due to sheer and total boredom. So here is my question: It hurts bad when I move it wrong, otherwise it doesn't. I can still swim freestyle, and lift stuff. Can't do backstroke or do counter movements without sharp pain. Now at day 3, have been taking Advil and wrapping it. Trying to avoid surgery, and trying to avoid getting fat. Any advice?
Stop eating so much, switch hands for masterbation and never,, i mean never backstroke. Front stroke is more better. Aleeve seems to work pretty good and viagra for the backstroke. Hope this helps!
Who says you need surgery?? Are you an orthopedic surgeon? If no, wait a few days--if pain subsides, you are set. If it doesn't, seen an MD before it gets worse. You may have pulled/torn a tendon or ligament. Maybe all you need is PT. Maybe you need to get laid for the first time in your life.......lol Peace, brother.....
I fucked up my left elbow. I'm right handed you assholes! Never used the left! Can't use the left! Thank God I didn't fuck up my right arm, that would be very bad. So none of ya'll has any real advice, go finger.
Get an elbow compression sleeve, or use a Ace bandage and wrap area from just below triceps down below the elbow, just above the ulnar nerve...snug, not too tight but not too loose. 800 mg ibuprofen twice a day. Try to ice the affected area for a hour before bed. Give it 2 weeks and if no improvement, see a Dr.
I agree it is most likely elbow aids and you will probably be dead soon. But if it hyperextended ice compression and rest... give it a week of rest and see how it feels. If no better see a dr... or report back for the next phase of SI medical advice.
Let's not get carried away fellas....it's not like I stuck my arm halfway up a cow's butt. Just tweaked it pretty good.
We were thinking more along the lines of an elephants butt, you standing on a ladder, which slipped from under you, and you just hung there with your inserted arm holding you up.
Denial is always the first stage... Just accept the hand you've been dealt and spend time with your loved ones.
