Try the YELLOW PILL. It’s why they didn’t offer it to Neo - he’d have dragged the girl into a dark corner and never came out to fight the matrix

Medical Marijuana is good for literally everything that ails you.

A good acupuncturist can help, too.

I vote sciatic nerve pain. Special stretching is all it take to keep it a bay.

Thanks for that. I'll look into it. I realized the normal sciatica ass stretches hit it, but only part. The pain comes around to my outer thigh more. So iv been trying to stretch that out more. Im desperate. I'll surf in CR regardless, but it would be nice to not have to worry about ass aids

So in all seriousness. I was still in pain today. Every turn i was in pain. I think i have a real diagnosis though.

We had waves for awhile mid summer, then it went flat. One of my last sessions before the flat spell i pulled into a barrel and got clamped really hard and my body got super compressed in a awkward position. I think that was what did it. Sprain/strain. Then when i finally did get back out i was feeling the pain because it didn't have enough time to heal.

I really am at the point where i need to see a doctor. But as i mentioned in the whos been surfing tread.... we got waves, looks like more waves mid week, then Saturday is my wedding and Monday I'm in CR for a week. I know i should take it easy but that just isn't me. Im going to surf. Im picking and choosing my waves though and not pushing myself to hard like id usually do.

If you can, get one of those electro stimulus machines - small portable ones are pretty cheap -
With the sticky pads as leads. Follow the directions with it. Run it as high as you can comfortably takes for the 20 minute ride. Try to do it a few times a day and after surfing. It will stimulate muscle contractions and blood flow to help heal the sprain. Also helps with pain. Also, some BenGay Ultra on the area BEFORE you surf will help a bunch. Did you ever try the stretches and ice/heat?
I’m thinkin you didn’t cause your running around like a spazmatron lately which I get, knowing you,
But seriously, look into the stim machine. It’s cheap and it works wonders.

And hells yeah you’ve had waves and more to come!

And is the one I used and still use for everything from strains to post crushed disc/herniation treatment. Crashed my rice rocket in 08’ and made a mess of three discs in lower back - after back quack straightened me out, that’s what he had me using and it has become like band aids and neosporin for everyday issues and I say again - it WORKS.

I did the ice/heat and stretches but not for long. I honestly felt like i was doing more harm then good. So i didn't do it long.

I was just working. After surfing or getting a good shot of pain in the area it will "feel" for a bit. Not necessarily hurt, but "feel". Well i was just on a roof... obviously i just went surfing.... wasn't bothering me. Im an inch from the ledge, no parapit, just a straight drop. About to swing on to my extension ladder when all of a sudden i got the heaviest shot of pain i have since first feeling this. It happened quick. The shot of pain may of been from me pushing off that leg so i wouldn't fall off the roof. It all happened fast so im not sure if i just stepped weird or what. All i know was i randomly got all off balance in a sketchy spot and instinct kicked in and by the time i realized what was going on i was in pain. Im still in pain. It's past "feeling" now.

My point is thank you for the advice. Like i said earlier, i don't go to the doctor usually. But im at the point where i need to go.....AFTER CR hahahaha. I'll keep surfing till this damn leg falls off. There is absolutely no way im not surfing on my first trip to CR.

I here you Bro’ and don’t question the why... I get it lol.
If you can, try that stim machine. Even if it only makes it bearable for your trip. That’s the important thing haha

Why would you wait til after CR to go to a dr? It’s not like they can tell you you’re not allowed to go.

That's a solid point, but im a strange guy. This won't make sense... because it doesn't make sense... but it's how my brain works i guess. So i know I'm injured and got somthing going on, but without being diagnosed by a professional i can play the ignorance is bliss game in my head. If a doc said it's this and you shouldn't surf or it'll get worse... that would play with my brain.

Plus im getting married in 6 days. Im freaking busy dude. Used all my vacation and sick days on the honeymoon, riley swell, funerals. I don't got time to go to a doctor. I don't even have a doctor since i havnt gone to one since the insurance change with my job.

I'm probably not the best person to say this because I dont have a dr. either. Hevn't been to a regular doc in 20 years. Been to ortho and ER but never a doc. So I get it.

But one thing to keep in mind is you make your money with your ability to do physical work.. A real injury will keep you out of work a lot longer than missing a few hours to get diagnosed. And getting married should make you think about that a bit more. You are now responsible for someone else.

I know ignorance is bliss, but if you know whats wrong you may be able to take some precautions and avoid more damage.

But the reality is you're probably right and it's AIDS
