http://www.latimes.com/local/crime/la-me-lunada-bay-20151230-story.html I was just here for a surf, extremely rich hood south of Hermosa Beach-I no issues but it wasn't going off. I think they should be busted, the floor is open.
I think the Bay Boys sound like some rich, spoiled beetches. Real tough guys that wait until you're in the water or walking down a hill to do anything. That's why I love this area. It'd be great to have more consistent surf, but I get to surf virtually alone, and in Fl, we are allowed to stand our ground. As for these duetchebags, karma will hopefully soon pay them a visit in some form
Sounds like one of those mansion owners is paying the cops to look the other way. Cops on a 1%er's payroll? Never...
I wonder what would happen if I showed up there during a good swell, started throwing rocks at myself, trashing my car, and kicking my own a$$.
The local-ism there has gone on for over 50 years. I don't defend it. Never have. Our family lived in PV from 1969 to 97. My folks and those of my friends weren't millionaires. But those who lived on "The Hill" were often despised out of hand by many who did not.
Does this sound familiar??: "Krell put his surfboard in the water and paddled out, leaving a bag of belongings on the shore. The Bay Boys emptied it into the ocean. They began throwing rocks."
--leaving a bag on the beach unattended is a bad idea anywhere--unless your wife is hanging out with it and gave the boys the prefect in. Grow up boys, there is enough waves for everyone.
Well, this event reminds me of the time that a few families went surfing to Mexico, and the asshole that invented Surfline contracted a few mexican thugs to throw bricks and rocks at them when they were in the water. The idiot had paid off town fathers so he could have some kind of Surfline event there and he wanted to own the beach for a few days. But karma got him shortly thereafter--he dropped dead on the tennis court. The non-commercial surfing world applauded....
somebody needs to go there and shoot the first guy they see in the head.end of localism. now I'm not a local there lol, but I imagine, giving their wealth status, that most of these people that surf there are lawyers, doctors, high ranking people in society,or atleast related to people like that.thats why they get away with it. all I know if I ever caught somebody throwing my stuff in the water,il beat the shyt out of them, knock them unconscious, put them on my board and paddle out a mile and drop them off in the ocean.alive btw lol
