i just got a 5'10" Lost Puddle Jumper to fill the groveler hole in my quiver. I originally thought that I would mostly ride it as a quad but was convinced into the thruster while I was at the shop buying the board and fins. I ended up getting the FCSII Accelerator tri set. As they do not make the Accelerator's in a quad set, Do you think I can get performer rear and ride it with the Accelerator fronts and performer rears when I wanna go with a quad setup? Anyone ever do this before?
Yes. Never tried it before but I ride mismatched fins all the time. Just by looking at the description, though, it seems like a perfect match. Consider the "same" size fin, as your fronts will already have more area just due to the design of the fin. Either that or go with the next size down, which is a safer bet, but you might miss the drive and added lift.
I would love to know what "lead" to that event. I'm sure there was some "point" where you could have stopped yourself. Now you won't be able to "erase" that image from your mind.
