In OCMD, what circumstances need to arise in order for the guards to dub the beaches 'modified' so we can all surf while they're in the stands?
http://town.ocean-city.md.us/ocbp/Surfing.htm Generally small crowds in town, poor weather not expected to improve during the day, cold water keeping people out of the water.... those are pretty rough guidelines.
also if it's over head high I've noticed they will sometimes, and even more if it's heavy and sloppy with alot of current. if you ride or hang out somewhere everyday and be cool with the guards some will let you stretch the morning out too.
