have an 8 yr old full suit, got a nice new one. considering cutting the old full into some sort of spring suit. is that worth it? live in southern n.c. and only need a spring like 2 weeks a year. can't get anything for the old suit. any help/advice thanks D
i made an old 3/2 into a short-arm full once...it wasn't bad. be sure to measure the arm & leg lengths well, or you'll end up w/ a hack job of sleeves that come down to your elbows & legs that cover your knees...it's all about the measurements.
Cut long, you can always cut more off. In all seriousness, I put it on and have my friend use a chainsaw.
