Well, one of his cams that I had totally dialed-in to my own area(the cam was fifty miles from my spot, but I did the research) was down for a while. So I sent him messages telling him to get that sh!t back up and running. He started whinning aboot Sandy and then the next day and thereafter I couldn't see any of the cameras...

Coincidence? I don't know.

Monmouth beach is a decent size,not everyone knows where the break is.when I first saw that came,i lol thinking wtf is this bullshyt.landmarks give it away tho.all u need is google street view lol,that's how I found where it actually was.and I never surfed there,theres a few good jettys in la,but I would steer clear of that one.

and I wouldn't blame surfersview.I blame that dumbazz joe guilardo or whatever the phuk his name is that shot a edit of sam hammer there,that showed u everything from the street view to the staircase.thats why that place is such a phuking zoo.i havnt surfed there since and I drive past it everyday.and I know when mike gleason is there because u see his black pickup with all his sponsor stickers on it.bad idea gleason.when u see that pickup,expect 40+ people in the water.but hey man theres sandbars all over

lmao. How big do you think LA is? There is really only one jetty and it's always crowded. Deal is a different town than LA. Also, what staircase are you talking about?

Although- I'm not so sure about his internet life and geography labeling issues

I would suggest that maybe he labeled the LA cam as Monmouth beach to protect the break? Only ppl who have surfed there before would know that the cam is located at LA and not at some other beach up north...

Yeeeaaaaah the only time I hit LA is when its a big hurricane swell or strong south swell. It spreads everyone out and chases the kooks out as well. That place is the land of sups and longboarders so annoying friggin shoulder hoppers.

 

LA and MB both have their days, but I'd estimate that for 75% of the swells we get, LA is better. But if there's waves, there's waves, and if my local is breaking I'm surfing there. Why waste time driving for surf that's maybe a foot bigger but 4x as crowded? For me it probably equals out if you factor in the waves you won't get 'cause your driving and paddle battling.

The cam's a just a tease anyway. I hardly ever look at it. It doesn't even load on my computer at work.

Surfing is not my whole life and I surf as well as I desire to. Surfing is a hobby for me (along with about 5 other hobbies) and I surf for fun and not for competition or to get pics in mags or on websites. Maybe if you surfed just for yourself and not to impress others or to be so damn aggro you would be less of an A$$ hoooooolaaaaaaaa all the time...

Just trying to figure out this staircase he's talking about in LA. I know about surrounding towns. I've been surfing this area for a very long time. I think he has his town's confused.Unless he's talking of a town border perhaps because the beach club staircase sucks now with some gnarly **** in the water.

Oh. I see what you did there. I couldn't figure out your writing style. Your obviously talking about another staircase no where near LA that I also drive right by. It has gotten better there but there has to be decent swell. For any small summer windswell, you have to drive a lot further south.
