Manasquan to Barnegat Beachfill The Army Corps plans to do a massive dredge and fill for the beaches from Manasquan Inlet to Barnegat Inlet, NJ. This would include the towns from Point Pleasant to Seaside Park, NJ. The Jersey Shore Chapter wants to modify the fill plan to avoid the disastrous results seen in the Monmouth County dredge and fill of the 1990's. This project has not been authorized for funding yet by Congress. Take Action: Public participation is extremely important before any beachfill project can go forward. A bill in the NJ Assembly would make that a law.
