I surf all the time in Jersey. I was seeing how many of you have surfed with famous people. I surf with pros all the time in the lineup but I actually hung out and drank beers with the guy from the bud light commercial that ran during the super bowl. The guy that was surprised and rode in a limo and partied with all the honeys. I work out with him.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tPgMeoBXAS0 this guy.
nope. He doesnt have time to surf. He is to busy nailing 10's. We lift every week together. But i surfed with plenty of competition quality surfers up here when the swell gets large.
I surfed with Jamie Obrian and shane magnesson in costa rica in june...... very humbling experience! really cool guys! totally down to earth..even went out drinking one night with them.
Yeah those are big names. Jamie O'Brien (James Duncan O’Brien) is a professional surfer from North Shore, Hawaii.
Is this a "hey lets surf together" type of question or a "wow, I'm in the lineup with xxxx" type of surf together. I've had plenty of the second option. I've shared waves with Rob Machado and Bobby Martinez. Both were cool. The waves were crappy but they were having fun. This was in Sea Isle back around 2000. Was also in the same line up as one Robert Kelly Slater at Wilderness, PR around 2002 or so. That was amazing. I remember how FAST he went. Saw Bon Jovi try to surf in AC back int he late 80s. He made a disgrace of it.
I dropped in on Tom Hanks, who was riding a wavejet I might add. True story. And in '78 I showed Sonny Liston a wrap around cutback which he credits in his book as inspiration for the right over under jab. Last year Laird Hamilton came to me re: advice for shotting piers and I teach Wayne Getskzy guitar on the weekends.
Kelly Slater, Taylor Knox, and Sunny Garcia to name a few. Other than pro surfers, I don't know if I've surfed with actual celebrity types before. I did see Charlie Sheen once and Ice T another time after getting out from surfing the VB pier.
Maybe. But BMT still has the fastest car on the block in the best state in the state. Needless I say more. Posted from my iPhone 12
