the ghost of stonewall jackson was the most famous for me, based on my new book called (surfing with the ghosts of the southern revolution). it was early one beautiful Carolina morning, fog all around you couldnt see 5 feet in front of you. the sun trying to burn though the clouds but couldnt. i was shreading the gnar for about a hour with 5 foot sets seeming to come out of no where..this does happen here in winter time fog gets super terrible. but any ways i was getting lonely at my break in the fog but then i hear a loud boom that sounded like a cannon. all of the fog goes away and as i look to the horizon i see the biggest bomb set ive ever seen. i start to paddle to the outside to catch this bomb which was about 18 feet maybe 23 feet at the most. when paddling, right up next to me is the ghost of stonewall jackson. stonewall was pissed because he wanted the wave and cut my leash with his sword. with a little bit of hesitation i drive forward and paddle on towards the b-mar style bomb. it was about to break as a a-frame, jackson was mean mugging the **** out of me. we got take off on one side, but then he did a huge carolina cutback and starting going left coming up behind me. he then shoves me off the wave to davy jones locker. after i got out of the mackin spin cycle the ghost was gone and all that was left on the beach was soft top dixie flag costco surf board.

One time I (accidentally) dropped in on Kenny Bradshaw at a small day at Sunset- totally felt bad (and still do) once I realized what I had done...

Lopez is sick, but the thought possibly unloading Duane's amp FAR outweighs sharing pizza with Gerry. Do you remember what venue or anything?

I lived in San Clemente and surfed with Kolohe all the time at T-Street. The first time I met him (I had heard of him but didn't know what he looked like) I yelled at him for f'ing off an old guy who dropped in on him. The next day we talked in the water and he told me his name was Kolohe, and I said "Andino?".
