    Herby Fletcher at casino pier back in the early 90s and I was told I just missed Shaun Thompson. Herby was side slippin his long board all over! Sooo cool...

    For me it was David Nuuhiwa back in 1967--he came to PR when I was living there. There was a nose riding contest I participated in-he suggested I use his board (Bing Noserider), which helped me narrowly win 1st place junior division. I was 16 yrs old then. I still have the trophy plaque from that somewhere in my belongings. That was a different era, almost a different galaxy.........
