Additionally and if possible if you could have wayne drive and you ride ***** with a dog on the handle bars now I say you got yourself a video,
I think I will invent a motorcycle helmet with surfboard rack attached. Just strap it on!! That should work well.......
No motorcycle but did have a modified Honda Ruckus that could do 50 and had a board rack. One thing is true it slowed you down a lot. It was also scary as hell in any side wind and going over a bridge with wind wipping across was terrifying. Its definitely doable but best for short rides at slow 40mph and under rides.
i had one of my students show up to a kiteboard lesson on a BMW motorcycle . I watched him pull up with his twin tip board sticking out 2 feet , both sides of his back pack . Looked like a he was wearing a wing suit of some sort . He drove down from north new jersey to south new jersey on the parkway going 65 mph or more . And this guys a pilot , so i muttered something like , so I'm guessing you flew here .
sounds like a horrible idea...but, if you insist, be sure to wear kneepads. If you eat sh!t and damage your knee, you won't be doing any sports for a very long time...maybe never again. Trust me on this one - 4 months since my accident and I still can barely walk because of the pain. I'm still icing it several times a day because the heat and swelling won't go away....had to quit taking pain meds because they started giving me ulcers after 2 months constant use.
I have done this with my harley, and i agree with zippy, it is scary, super sketchy, and absolutely gives you respect for life when you get there. The cross winds like to snatch you from one side to the other
I loved riding my bike that kind of weekly distance. You definitely have to plan a little better and do your best to not become a speed bump. Did you find it hard to sleep at night? Something like a restlessness even though you're exhausted? I only experienced that when I was riding my bike to work, it was about 20 miles round trip.
Just curious wtf you have spent $10k repairing on your car. Where I'm at I could buy several decent used cars for that.
Got a logistics question for the bike/board thing. So you ride the w/ the board to the beach and get there in one piece, what do you do with your gear? I guarantee your luck will run out at some point and you will come back to find that bike on the back of some truck on its way to a joy ride behind someones doublewide then tossed into a ditch when the gas runs out. I love motorcycles but they don't work well as surf transportation, I have pipe burn scars to prove it. I have surf check bikes but you have to get boots, pants and a helmet on if you want to survive without bleeding or burning and I would never leave one at the beach unattended. It would be gone in minutes. Nas, get a van dude. I see them all the time in fine condition for half of your $10000 repair bill (! are you sporting a Maserati?). Fullsize van= gear schlepper, changing room, hotel, smoke room, man cave and if you want to ride you can take the bike to a spot to really RIDE like you mean it. Riding in dirt is almost as fun as surfing. Almost.
What kind of Harley you got bro? There is no focking way I'd ever attach anything to my custom Softail or my bagger.
