Which leads me to a question, some may consider dumb, but I'll ask anyway....

i have stacks, upon stacks of old surfing mags....wtf would you do with them?

Bring 'em along or chuck 'em in the recycling can?

Why is this such a hard decision, it's f*ckin' paper!

Tell me about it mang, I face the same dilemma whenever I move... I usually end up stuffing em in the recycling can and keeping the bigger photo specials.

I had stacks of playboys, I used the centerfolds for wrapping small gifts. Long story short, my 90 year old grandfather didn't give 2 sh!ts boot what was inside.

Koki - I'd take out the classic issues and huck the rest or give em to a thankful grom.

aka pump - You'll need to get linked up with American and Air Train to get to surf destinations but Dallas otherwise is an awesome place overall.

So true but some "paper" has $$$ value. You didn't say how old so if able to save the older issues then consider it and/or sell off the older issues and give away the bulk of newer issues "pick up only" rather than dump them in the trash.

    Steers and queers!

All joking aside, Dallas isn't so bad. You can probably score cheap flights to the west coast. At least you aren't moving to Chicago. Brrrrrr!!!

Good idea... I have a couple of neighbors that surf. I give them a stack every year and they are stoked.

Dude, there's something wrong when a surf predictin' website forum's inhabitants are getting excited aboot Dallas.

Dallas sucks. Though it is good for macho, conservative men to toss their little lady around, with their gun holstered around their waist pretending to be Walker Texas Ranger and sh!t. JR Ewing and sh!t, man. Southfork even......

Real surfers don't move to Dallas.

Pump, what's Cape May County going to be like without you? You'll never snowboard again.

Yeah, Texas is fronting its chest out now as some wonderful American success story, but it won't last. Oh, it won't last.

Hey Pump, I hear they have some good Aryan gangs down there.......

what ever you do, don't do this….

my friend had a COMPLETE collection of 'surfer' mags; he died so they were worthless to him.

Yes, I have relatives in Texas as well and they are just about intolerable. The mindset amazes me. Thank you Mr. Bear for listening to me during those times.

Oh yeah, and despite all the tough talk, despite all the far right extremism I hear from them, their house got robbed...
