Dude, you are delusional aren't you? I made your points, huh?. I don't even know what the F you are trying to mean by that.

So now you're going after God, huh? Go visit MIS-13 when he's 80..........see if he feels the same.

And how does the government take care of me? They don't give me money. Are you talking aboot stuff like trash collection or something?

Dude, you get the same things I get from the government. As I said before, you couldn't run a twenty member commune, much less expand your idealistic notions to stabilize a country having a 300 million population.

Mommy and daddy? I like dudes like you who won't reveal anything aboot themsleves on this site because you're cowards, and then you make accusations like that. It's pathetic.

Dude, please look me up when you get back from da kine islands, brah.

You would have never made the debate team at The Episcopal Academy.

Oh yeah, dude, I'm self-destructing from some toilet-humored insults from some haole. I'm just aboot to leave the house and go on a rampage.....Whatever damage I do is all your fault.

Jesus, why does everybody have to EDIT their three sentence tirades directed at me. What, you write first drafts and sh!t?

you missed the point, the mythical benevolent entity is gvt. it keeps f@cking up!

Its funny man...i was doing some house cleaning and stacked by year all of my old surf mags. found out i had

The Surfers Journal - every issue back to late 1990s
Surfer Mag - every issue back to late 1990s
Surfing Mag - back to late 1990s missing a bunch

I find myself reading old issues of TSJ Constantly - so keep them for sure.
Surfer Mag - The old "board buyers guides" are cool just to see the trends. The articles are poorly written crap.
    Surfing - crap.

Our local library will take the old magazines and give them away. Better than chucking in the recycle bin. Bye Bye "Surfer" and "Surfing".

If all the ghetto thugs like shooting each other so much why not GIVE them guns, free ammo too? Seems much cheaper and easier than welfare reform. Plus, the good folks, down on their luck, will have a bigger pool of money to work with.

The Chicago-Houston graph share equal demographics modeling (population, income, % of pop) other than restrictive/less restrictive firearm access (# of gun shops/homicides) by law abiding population. Your NYC homicide rate of 5 per 100,000 homicides is skewed by population comparison (8.3 million) to Chicago/Houston graph. You can obtain different conclusions when applying comparison "modeling" points using apples to oranges vs. apples to apples. Mississippi murder rate (7.4) is an anomaly per 100,000 maybe due to State's lower population compared to Chicago, NYC and Houston? Either how you want to cut the apples Chicago restrictive guns laws doesn't deter nor eliminate gun crime while Houston's more liberal access to gun ownership homicides due fall below Chicago's homicide statistics with similar population/income percentages.

    http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2013/01/29/us/where-50000-guns-in-chicago-came-from.html?_r=0

We'll agree Chicago has most restrictive gun laws so how else are the guns going to get there other than outside of Chicago. Whether it was from southern migration 30 years ago, straw purchases or stolen Chicago restirctive gun laws has been ipotent to reduce gun violence so the ole' statement holds true for the criminal element who want guns will find a way to aquire them.

Mississippi, where "No state permit is required for the purchase of any rifle, shotgun or handgun."

True, but you're not telling the whole story. States must follow guide lines under the Brady Law, Federal National Instant Criminal Background Check System required by Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act of 1993 which a drivers licence and BATF #4473 must be completed for purchases from FFL dealers. Since majority of homicdes are committed with handguns failed to mention under Federal Law handgun purchases are restricted by State residency so can't cross State lines to purchase handguns so Federal Law supercedes State Law if less restrictive without a permit. The Federal Laws also restricts private sales of handguns to State residents only even if States don't regulate private sales.

The State of Maryland murder rate was 365 in 2012 per FBI. I hope we can agree that figure is high by national standards for a small state compared to Chicago and NYC. The demographics much higher between the Baltimore-Washingron DC corridor. Maryland has had handgun registration since the early 1980's all handgun purchases must be register with MD State police either through dealer and private sales. This as well as new more resrictive laws past last year after Newtown to curb the rising handgun violence that mostly exists in Baltimore City, PG County and City of Salisbury has done nothing to reduce gun violance since enacted.

Another alarming trend, enacted in the 1930's Robertson-Pittman Act, collects excise taxes on ammunition that is dispursed to the State's for wildlife -shooting programs. The taxes collected have increased modestly over the years, with increases after 1911, in 2007 prior to election, the Feds collected 107 million from ammo sales. In 2012, the amount doubled to 207 million since Obama was elected. The FBI has set records of instant checks for firearm purchases the last few years. These firgures demonstrate the alarming rate this country has pursued gun ownership and ammo to feed them. The trend is not showing signs of easing up per industry analysts.

We can agree to disagree to debate view points and dispell data while you didn't have exploit negitive "personal" attacks to futher your post. Even though gun violence has trended downward with exceptions I'm sure others like myself would enjoy seeing more civility excerised on this forum by those who choose to pull the trigger on key in anger like a trigger on a gun.

I've got mags from Surfer, Surfing and Breakout (a now-defunct California 'zine) from the late '70s and early '80s that I've been carrying with me since I was a grom. I even have a few early 70's mags, including the classic Surfer issue with the "Tales From The Tube" comic book insert. I wonder how much that thing is worth now?
