Fyre Festival set out to provide a once-in-a-lifetime musical experience on the Islands of the Exumas.

Due to circumstances out of our control, the physical infrastructure was not in place on time and we are unable to fulfill on that vision safely and enjoyably for our guests. At this time, we are working tirelessly to get flights scheduled and get everyone off of Great Exuma and home safely as quickly as we can. We ask that guests currently on-island do not make their own arrangements to get to the airport as we are coordinating those plans. We are working to place everyone on complimentary charters back to Miami today; this process has commenced and the safety and comfort of our guests is our top priority.

The festival is being postponed until we can further assess if and when we are able to create the high- quality experience we envisioned.

that blows! they've been doing a lot of these lately with cruises to bahamas, concert there, and cruise on back to miami, etc. This seems to be a big event, that sucked from the get go. I went to a festival in Atlanta a year or so back, and they screwed up with their buses getting stuck in the mud. nobody had transportation back to their cars which was like 5-10 miles away. It was chaos, and there were a buncha of half naked girls walking in the middle of the night back on some long road in nowhere part of Atlanta hoping to get signal on their phone to get a UBER, taxi, whatever. Ppl were driving, offering rides for negotiable prices, and go figure the word was that some ppl got raped. My buddies and i got back five hours after we found out about the buses to the hotel where they just started continental breakfast. some ppl were coming in when we left the hotel hours later. laugh all you want about rich kids doing these festivals, but u know some real dark sht happened and that's pretty terrifying. can't believe Ja Rule didn't have things under control
