SpaceX’s launch in the early morning hours this morning was so loud it woke my wife and I up from a dead sleep. It was so loud and it lasted so long we thought we were under attack! Hahaha holy crap was that insane. Longest sonic boom ever. I went outside just to make sure we weren’t being bombed by Iran
Haven't seen any Musk stories lately. What's the status on those cars that were on order to be delivered by this year?
He has been acting a fool on Twitter some more lately, they need to replace him as CEO of Tesla and keep him on the board imo. 2nd quarter numbers come out today I believe. The talk is they will show around 90,000 cars delivered in Q2. That's a little short of what Elon was predicting but still shows 120% growth from Q2 last year. Not sure what the stock price will do as TSLA has always been a hype over financials stock.
Lucky you live so close! Was contemplating the 3 hour drive but glad I didn't go since it didn't launch until 2:30am. Landed both side boosters (center booster missed the floating landing pad by a few feet, rough seas) and caught the nose cone this time with the giant net on a boat. The engineering being showcased with these launches is incredible.
We are about 45 minutes from the Space Center and it still shook our house and rattled our windows. Amazing. Just wish it happened when I was awake to see it like the last few.
