Best time is High going to Low tide a couple hours after or The low tide turn towards High, after a few hours. Wind is going to be on this for the whole time, maybe sat. morning. My guess is when the wind goes, the waves will go as well. It will get mushy as an old lady's arse.. Just got out not too long ago, **** house, it has size, but alot more work and you really have to be in the right spot to have a line connect through. So bumpy out there.

If you can find somewhere slightly sheltered from the wind or more southward facing.

Usually when Myrtle Beach gets size it is choppy except for those rare days. I plan on trying Sat. morning at dawn. The wind in MB is calmer in the morning, however, high tide isn't until 1 p.m. so it probably won't be as big. Oftentimes, the tail end of storm surf is cleaner, but it is usually smaller. Just go out early and give it a shot. Surfing is still better than whatever else you would be doing.

Hey I am from out of town and I was trying to go surfing but I tried today at 4:30 pm close to the holiday inn(13th St N) and the lifeguards called me out of the water.

Where should I go and what time?

    Thanks for the help
