According to the globe, Nantasket is due for some 'upgrades' mostly stuff like more green space, bath house renovation, etc... However there is a proposal to add rocks in front of the rock wall area and maybe do some sand replenishment. Hopefully this gets bogged down as I'm not confident that these schemes work out to improve the beach experience.
