I'm looking to buy a new board for this summer but don't know what dimensions to get it. I'm 5' 10" and 145 lbs. Ive been surfing for 5 years, ive been riding 6' RNF Lost and a 8'6 isle longboard. I'm looking for a shortboard thats similar to the JS blak box or CI dumpster diver. I want something thats good in small junky surf.

    Tommy Moore

i always recommend Tommy Moore's boards. I would go with a Tommy Moore tweaker, more like a dumster diver than a black box. It has the straight single concave all the way thru it. Really depends on how you surf though. I surf off my front foot more, as i use that to drive down the line, really drive off the middle of the board so a single to double concave in junk works a better for me in really small stuff. Now waist high with a bit of punch to it or bigger my Tommy Moore Tweaker is fast it doesnt want you to pump/drive on it hard it genrates its own speed so you surf it more off your back foot which allows you to stay tighter in the pocket. For you I would recomend a Tweaker in 5-9 x 19 x 2 1/4" thick.

Where are you from? Nevermind i see you are form Jersey.
