need help naming a cat

Be weary, a neighbor of mine named his cat Karen and that thing bailed about a week later.... hah, karen.

 

My advice, is spend some time with him first. Once you get to know his personality for a week or so, you will know what to name him. Thats how we did things with my cat and dog.

My cat was the size of a baseball, wandered long from his home and ended up crying at my front door, probably just a couple weeks old... We fed him, and that was that. He just never left....

About a week after we got my cat, the wifey and I and a couple friend were enjoying "Prop 215" and drinking quite a bit when we first saw the "Freedom Fries" commercial from Jack in the Box. Probably one of the better commercials in the last 15 years.

I searched youtube, but I can't find it. But basically it is a JBX commercial making fun of France. Jack renames his fries "Freedom Fries" and thena french guy comes on screen yelling at him. "What, you have a problem with us Jack? You do not like the French?...... Then he yells "We or No monsieur BOX!???" and then Jack lifts his arms, shrugs and replies "Ehhhh?"

We lost it, then started repeating it all night to the poor cat. We just kept saying "We or No Monsieur Cat?" A few hours later, my cat's name was "Monsieur"

I get a funny look every time someone asks what his name is. But it stuck for sure, all because of too much herb and some anti-french propaganda.

So, moral of the story, get intoxicated and watch the cat for a while. A name will come to you.

In the early 80s my girlfriend had a black cat named Ganja. We took it up to Tennessee, and on the way back we stopped at Sebastian Inlet to camp out. After coming back from surfing the inlet, I ran him over pulling up to the campsite. He just jumped out of some bushes right in front of the truck, happy to see us I guess. So don't name him Ganja, it's probably bad luck.

 

Name him Williams.

Cat Williams.
