Need help picking surf destination for December

+1 to the Basque Region. They call it Sope-line for a reason. The water is chilly in December but 3-2-able. I'm heading to Portugal in a few weeks so I'll report back. Doing a road trip with my wife and her parents so there will be minimal surf time but I'm hoping to try a few spots. Also Portugal isn't normally bumping in June but it's gotta be better than Flatachusetts. Wherever you go you'll have fun!

 

Go to Kauai. It's not Oahu crack-methville, plus there's always some surf in the Winter. It can get gigantic though. Just cruise around the island and look for some sheltered spots I guess(?).
