well to be more clear. I drink a teaspoon of "Braggs" Apple Cider Vinegar in a large cup of water 2 or 3 times a day. The health benefits of doing this are simply through the roof. I'll venture to say that Apple Cider Vinegar is the healthiest thing you can put in your body (well as long as your doing it a tablespoon at a time, no more that 3 times a day). Then I also eat at least 1 avocado a day. Avocados are natures super food. They are loaded with tons of beneficial vitamins and minerals. There is also a chemical in them that reduces pain associated with carpel tunnel and arthritis. Check out Earthclinic.com, it is the best place to find holistic remedies. If something ails you, earth clinic will have a remedy. If you do visit the site, I'll recommend reading up in Apple Cider Vinegar, and also Oil Pulling. These 2 things are basically medical miracles!!!!!
I have to somewhat agree but still disagree with everyone saying that this guy should do it all on his own and take the financial responsibility. My parents took a small part of my financial responsibilities when I went to Towson, but after my freshman year, I had to fund it all myself. And to be honest, I just turned 30 last week, but it took me until about 25 until I even began trying to pay back all the loans and do the right thing financially. Since I was 19, I had bad credit due to college loans and a lot of debt... So if this kid goes out on his own, and he isn't exactly in the most responsible of situations in his life, maybe he should get as much bailout help frmo the parents as possible. I have better work ethic than any of my friends and have had a job constantly since the day I finished college. So, all work ethic aside, I was working hard at 21 and stuff, but I was not paying off college loans and stuff. I was more worried about surfing and moving to California... So, although I am glad that everything I own, i got myself. I havent gotten bail out money in over a decade from the fam. Not even 20 bucks... So, although I pride myself in what I have learned, I cant help but be pissed off that through all of my 20s, I had bad credit. I paid ten times the interest on all my cars. Have to put deposits down for cell phones and stuff. Just embarrassing stuff, because it took me a while to pay back $20K in loans all under my name. The governement used to take all my taxes each year. Its not fun... And I have 30 year old friends from Orange County that still have their parents paying their rent and everything. My best friend hasnt worked in 2 years. He has a beach front apartment. Goes out drinking and dining every night. He golfs every week. Im like, dude, no wonder you have zero work ethic. Your parents bail you out all the time... but on the inside, I kinda wish the folks had bailed me out a bit until I was ready. They through me in the water and it was sink or swim. I swam, but it wasnt easy... Thats life, but seriously kid, dont take on adult responsibilities until you are ready... Let the fam pay for your school and make a few decisions for you.... Surfing will be there later in life.
A retrospective view from 60 Ultimately, the only person you HAVE to live with is YOU!! And I suspect that's exactly what your parents want for you as well. Family is always family, but you can't become your own person if you just want to smoke dope and sponge off your parents all the time. Get a life. . . the one you want- and the one you're willing to work for.
I failed my first year at Virginia Tech in 1985. I took off a year, surfed, partied, and finally I felt as though I lost a year of life. I went back the following year and hit the books. The first year was tough. The next year was easier, and third year even easier. Graduated in 1991 with B.S. in Civil Engineering. Went on and earned a masters in Civil Engineering in 1998. I now own a multistate engineering and chimney company and surf Costa Rica anytime I want. http://ChimneyCleaners.com If I were you, I'd ask your parents (if they are rich) to let you live down in Costa Rica for a year. Surf your brains out and brings some books to study while you are down there. When you come back a year later, quit surfing for the next four years except for summers. Study hard for your unborn children and the cool wife you will have one day. You know, the one thing that got me to go back when I failed was the question. Did I fail out because I was stupid or lazy. The first year was just a big party year and I didn't take it serious. I'm lucky to have been given a second chance to find out. Good luck.
