I'm 5'6 and weigh about 135lbs. Im looking for a new performance short board and I cant find the right size. Right now I am riding a 5'10 alchemist and it seems a little to big for me and hard to turn. Please help :) P.S. I would also like it to hold up in bigger day like the one we just had.

get a 5'6" to 5'8" rocket fish thats less than 19wide and like 2 1/8 - 2 1/4 inches thick. that will hold you off in most surf up to head high, and you can surf your 5 10 on bigger days. plus, a rocket fish will be fun as hell for anything, even thigh high waves.
    just dont ever ever longboard

hey i noticing that you live in lb i am guessing you got your chem from bare... When they made the alchemist they made it with a thicker nose and a wider deck so it would be easyer to turn thew mushy sections... I personaly have an al chemist and its a good board for small days.... But if your looking for a board for chest highs like in the winter i would recomend the C Mags pro modle or the new mike gleason model. My friend is basicaly your same hight and weight and he rides a Mike gleason Chem 6'0
