I know there has been some talk of night surfing on here, have any of you fellas/ladies tried this? I just ordered the lights and I am going to try an evening sesh with them. (don't have the balls to go at night. HA) Might be gay, who knows.

I'd love to watch from the beach on a moderate dose, but I'd persionally feel like a giant fishing lure all lit up like that.

Oh, I thought those lights were for doing SUP yoga in the dark.

Thats why I will prob just go in the evening. LOL

If they don't work on the board, maybe I can make a circle on the beach with them and then drop some yoga. HA HA

^^There's a SUP rental/SUP yoga lessons place here that does the lit up board SUP yoga at night on the ICW, right next to the drawbridge. Then you get traffic slowdown from all of the rubberneckers. Puts on quite a show for the fishermen, too (day or night). I think putting on a show is the whole point of SUP yoga, btw.

HA HA HA HA, I thought you were just being smart. Wow, SUP yoga at night would really test your nerves. I would assume since you are already nervous about what you can't see, if you can calm yourself in that situation, you are REALLY calm!

LOL Pretty crazy. If I still lived a house off the beach I would do it after having some beers with my buddies in the summer.

And then you would die. Drinking then surfing at night riding on a giant lunker light = death by sharktopus.

I had a night sesh this fall, was a full moon but the sky never cleared, it was then that I realized I'm not too comfortable in the water at night.

I've surfed pretty late into the evening and it was pretty dark, but to actually paddle out at night? I think my mind would get the best of me and I would get out pretty quickly

If you tickle the Shark's brain just the right way... You'll have waffles waiting for you next to morning coffee

I did it once by pier and full moon light. You are right about the timing. The best part of the session was getting the he11 out of the water and telling my friends I surfed at night...
