the theory is sound...coat the whole thing in neoprene, no way for water to seep in through the seams. i've gotten to feel them up, they're really nice...quiksilver is doing boots & gloves this way, too. the way of the future?
I got a pair of Quicksilvers. They are incredible! Pricey, $59, but they look like they will last many winters. Tomorrow will be my second time out with them. I would say about a tablespoon of water leaked in, about 1/4 teaspoon of sand, if that.
