Hey guys. Totally new to surfing in NE. Although I have lived on the NorthShore.... Mass :) for 41 years I have never surfed on the east coast. Been skateboarding and snowboarding for over 30 years, but never surfed. I have been to Hawaii and Puerto Rico a few times to surf and did ok. So anyways now I got two kids soon to be 10 and 8 and got them into snowboarding and skateboarding at age 3, and they are absolutely ripping now. Did a couple sessions of indoor surfing recently, and they picked it up instantly and love it. So anyways hope to see you guys around NE. Expect a lot of noob questions.

Maybe wanna not put pics of your kids in here. It might lure Wayne back to the site.

Believe in sorcery. It does exist. It is called surfs up nh. Its pretty fun and kind of close to surfing a real wave, but not really. It is a standing wave similar to a flowrider but can be surfed on a board with fins.

Welcomme... Can't hate on you too much cuz you posted pics of your kids and now your a human... damn it!
Nube... We need to know what you bench before we can really give you any solid advice though. Plus we need to know if the mother of your offspring can cook, and what size wet suite does she wear?

Thanks! It's not too bad, been to worse, like WAR.

    Thanks!! Yeah they are maniacs.

I'm back from the dead! I actually haven't heard this one in a long time. Usually it's Jesus or Hey Seuss, and by usually I mean at least two times a day.

Haha it's too late, I already tried both. No turning back now.

    What is "practicate"?

Kinda, Mac Smith got it right.

Don't kid yourself. It's always been gay. Take up a real sport like boxing or motocross.

I hope he likes kids in motocross gear.

Yeah I thought it was pretty fun.

    Thanks, hi notaseal

LOL. When I use to box I was benching almost 300lbs at a weight of 135lbs. Now I have no clue what I can bench, but I can do 30 pullups. She can cook, but doesn't surf, so not sure on wetsuit size. Her lingerie is a size medium, she has an athletic build.

The problem with those indoor spots with standing waves, and most noobs don't understand, is that they have too much power. The majority of people who suck at surfing don't know how to cut back or generate enough speed in average east coast surf. Anyone can stay standing on a wave with unvarying power.
