I am planning a surf trip to NH or ME in AUG/SEPT. The purpose is to give a lesson to my niece and her boyfriend who both are very anxious to try it out. They live in VT now but are from The Cape and really want to get started. I'm looking for a mellow break that is consistant (for the east coast) in NH or southern ME. The ideal situation would be a hotel within walking distance of a good surf shop (rental wetsuits and a good selection for sale) and a mellow break. I know, the best made plans....
