A bunch of nearshore buoys have been added around Puerto Rico, including 3 buoys that record wave data. This is fantastic data for Puerto Rico surfers. The buoys, which record wave data are located near San Juan, Rincon, and on the south coast. There are also some new buoys that just record wind data that will be useful as well. You can find this data on the Land / Buoy Data map, and on the top weather strip for Puerto Rico Surf Forecast locations. Also, for those surfing in the Eastern Caribbean, you will find a new buoy map for the Easter Caribbean. A full set of Caribbean surf forecasts are to follow.
