New Years resolutions?

Let's keep our goals realistic

 

I never really make new years resoultions,its all bs,but I do want/plan to surf more this year.iv had a lot of laydays over the years,not going out because its dark by the time I get to the beach from work,or not going out on a weekend because I have family shyt to do.fuk everyone else,i need some more waves in my life.this past week has been pretty good,i had my boards in the car for the past 3 weeks,i don't plan to take them out til after Thursday,since that looks like the last potential surf before the flatness kicks in.

went out a few hours ago,thought it would be cleaner but wind was too north,current was beyond fukin beyond crazy lol,i drifted paddling out probably a good 100 yards to the left which I guess would be north where I was at,only caught 2 decent waves the whole time,waves were breaking very far from shore,like outer bar type of shyt.hope it cleans up a bit tomorrow,waves wont be from the west,but light so hoping its not all choppy and all over the place.thursday winds go west,but very little swell but I have a thing for finding diamonds in the rough.

atleast I got my nica trip to look forward to.i hope to increase my surfing abilities by actually surfing good waves lol,hopefully anyway,and by the time I get back the late winter swells early spring swells should be moving in.surfing nj beachbreaks will only take ur level so far,i want some nice long walls to carve and some long barrels.the pacific is a different beast than the atlantic.i plan to surf every single day I'm there aslong as theres waves,no matter what size.

as far as the stupid stuff like smoking less pot,will never happen.yea if ur becoming a full time alcoholic maybe it is wise to put the bottle down for once,as its my Christmas week vacation I have been partying pretty hard,hard to remember the past couple days lol.im just happy I actually got to surf during this brief nonpaying vacation I'm on.its just good to get in the water,no matter how shytty the session is,i always leave the water with a smile on my face and puts me in a good mood for the rest of the day.
