United got me for 200 dollars one trip. I got away with taking the boards down there but on the way back they hit me. Make sure you never fly united they ding your boards too, all ways buy refundable tickets.
Glad you got at least one way free. American did me dirty over the winter. 150 each way,and dinged my board. It looked deliberate too, there was a puncture hole directly through my board bag into the bottom of my board.
