Well the big ol brown UPS truck came, I saw online that my pacakge was delivered. In that box are to two fresh Tommy Moore Slop Rods, my board is EPS/Epoxy 5'-6" x 21" x 2-3/8 with a quad set up. I cant wait to ride my summer groveler, the "slop rod" was designed for this crap surf we have had. I dont get off work for another 2 hours, its going to be a long two hours! I have been waiting on this board to get here all summer after ordering it months ago, so knowing its finally at my house makes it difficult to stay at work. These are the first two Slop Rods made by Tommy, it was my design and then Tommy did his magic to it, my name, my logo design so this board is a bit different than most for me. I cant wait to see what this thing looks like and cant wait to ride it!
Tommy shapes sick boards. One of my all-time favorite boards was a fish I ordered from him through WRV. It's too bad he left the right coast.

Yeah it cost me about $100 more for a custom. But then again its worth it to have a shaper that I tell him what i want my boards to do, or how my other board rode and i want it to have more rail to rail roll or need more drive, and he can adjust my sticks. I will post some pictures tomorrow. The Slop ROd is his based off his round nose fish template as far as rockers and bottom contours, The outline looks more like a I guess an Uber Plank, its diffrent though.
