    FYI....
@ the Trevor J. Stockdale Memorial Coastal Monitoring Station (http://cmn.dl.stevens-tech.edu/ ) at Ocean Grove, NJ:
    Water Temperature: 15.2oC (59.3oF)

    And:
@ the Coastal Monitoring Network (http://cmn.dl.stevens-tech.edu/ ) at Avalon, NJ:
    Water Temperature: 15.4oC (59.7oF)

Pretty close to 57 degrees in my book...

Sometimes these things are offline or the sensors are out of calibration, but it is a pretty good site...

yes, the avalon station is on the Swellinfo data buoy map, id is avan4. Not sure why the grove grove, nj station isn't being distributed as the others are.

tiny 1ft, @ 17 sec g swell is showing on the buoys as predicted. On most of the buoys, this isn't detectable in the numbers they report (because the local wind swells are dominant), but if you look at the nearshore buoy off the obx, you'll see the 1ft @ 17 seconds in the swell category. This is also showing on some of the SE buoys.
