Thread still going. Just said i caught no crowd waves at poles. Caught less crowd, warmer waves indialantic. I like your convincing aggro pro-cfla tone. Thank you.

Not at all, dude, you seem pretty stoked, and that is what i want. Warm, uncrowded consistent stoke. Doesn't everybody? It is no secret how much fun you have if you look at the peajay thread. Don't see anyone else surfing as many days as you. Gotta find the right beach in cfla is all.

Right on, there is plenty of uncrowded consistent waves if you know where to look. If you're in the area I'll hook you up.

Blowhole in Anastasia Park (just north of St Augustine) is a nice spot to surf during the summer, too cold for me during the winter. But it's all relative, you coming down from colder climes, and St Aug has great deals on homes, good family vibes north of town in Vilano Beach, and consistent waves. Beautiful beaches. And Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum. That alone is worth the move.

^ what he said, but I am a sissy and throw on gloves for about 2 weeks when it gets REALLY cold (55)

the poles are an awesome spot due to the jetties on a NNE wind, and it cleans up nicely. the down side is everyone knows it. i park on the base and can avoid some of the chaos, but even when there is a crowd out, its still a decent vibe. i haven't seen much stupidity out in the water.
atlantic ave /lemon st. has a great vibe in that whole area. i love on the other side of the ditch so a bike ride to the beach is kind of a haul, but I bought twice the house for 1/2 the money, and its a 5 minute drive to the pier.

When Hurricane Gonzalo passed back in 2014 I surfed right in front of the Lemon Bar, head high peaks all to myself. Fond memories of that spot. Plus during the weekends, there is a beach yoga class there in the morning, which is not a bad sight after a surf.

You can find space there. Especially when it's a clean tropical swell, a lot of bars will work, maybe smaller than the popular spots but not crowded. The surfers there are not lazy, but they all gravitate to the popular spots that have the online cams.
