Or this Grace remnant: As of 2:00 am EDT Thu Sep 17 2015 ... A large area of disturbed weather, extending from the southeastern Gulf of Mexico northeastward across Florida, is associated with a broad trough of low pressure. This system is expected to move northeastward and spread heavy rains over portions of the Florida peninsula during the next day or two. A low pressure area may form over the western Atlantic over the weekend, when conditions could become a little more conducive for tropical or subtropical cyclone development. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...10 percent * Formation chance through 5 days...low...30 percent
You are correct about Labor Day crap. I managed to play on some of the sand bars with my mini simmons, but that was it. Last good Labor Day swell @ CB was 4 years ago... best day/time was morning just prior to a thunderstorm.
So where would you move to?? West Coast?? Islands? Or somewhere extravagant, like Indo?? Were I young and unattached, I would do so for a couple of years, provided I could get employment in one of those locations. Being anywhere where there is great surf and being broke can really suck as well.
Meh, I get your point, but vag is everywhere plentiful and easy to get. Money, on the other hand, requires some effort. But we are drifting off topic, I think. Where would you go to surf for say, two years, if you had all the money to do so?? I know it would NOT be PR, nor CR, nor Nica. But Chile and Peru intrigue me. Indo areas are getting busy as they are tourist meccas now.
It looks like Graces's remnants may reform and move across Florida and out to sea, and maybe, just maybe merge with Nine, or at least create some kind of fetch for the EC early next week. If I was young and single, I'd go to Lisbon and surf the spots, drink the wine, and love the ladies. Then go to Bairritz and repeat.
You got that right CBS. I went out that AM and walked way up the beach and only caught two crap waves before I had drifted back to the truck. Said F it after that.
