Yes!!!! Belmar is the ONLY SAFE beach around (that ironically has the best and warmest waves around)
Thankfully the Labradors have been doing their jobs filtering the water

Oh man sorry to hear that! I remember when that happened it seemed like it was worse from Asbury and up. Wasn't it a hazardous waste ship that dumped some of its load or something?? I was always freaked out that I would step on one

When did you have the tests done?? Hep C will NOT show up in a test done immediately after an exposure/puncture. It takes a long time for this viruss' DNA to show up....years, in fact. You see, it is a slow replicator, so it's DNA is slow to get sufficient titers to detectable levels. Now, don't panic, but were I you, I would discuss this with your MD next time you visit him/her. Most cases are not detected until years have gone by. By the way, it is now easily treated with oral agents. So no panic, no lose sleep.

The beach at Deal Casino recorded the highest bacteria levels in Monmouth County with 430 CFU, while the testing station at Anglesea Avenue in Ocean Gate recorded the highest level (1,060 CFU) in Ocean County

    Fvckin Rudy!

You must surely mean the Labrador Current that swings down from Nova Scotia, right?

    Right...?

Water was more disgusting this afternoon than it was yesterday at the same time. All kinds of crap floating around in the surf zone, but mostly plastic... lighters, staws... lots and lots of plastic bags.

see I remember many years ago there was like a hospital waste dumping or something in that nature where medical waste got washed up on the beaches.now tho,its just junkies shooting up on the beach and nodding out and forgetting their needle.pretty fukin disgusting to see stuff like that in the water
