Not only is it outrageously priced, but it's not a very good wave and nothing like the real thing.

Any wave pool technology that uses a foil is basically WAKE surfing. You might as well get towed behind a boat. This includes kelly's wave. They used some very good editing to mask the fact that you are moving forward, not across the wave. You are basically stationary near the foil with the wave moving under you while going forward. Sucks compared to an actual ocean wave where YOU are actually moving across the wave.It's nothing like what you're surfing in the ocean.

Honestly the best man made wave I've seen is typhoon lagoon. If you they could simply make it barrel and made the rides longer it would be way better, but it's still the best. I'd rather ride mush that is LIKE a real wave than follow a foil barrel where you aren't moving across the wave.

You need a tech where you can PUSH the water towards people rather than following a wake, which is what you get with foil tech.(wave garden, slater wave pool ect.) THe generation source needs to push the water towards the break while being behind the break. That's what typhoon lagoon does. This is what happens in the ocean where wind pushes the waves towards the break.

Pretty sure that mods 4 & 5 fall into the "progressive" crowd.

That's cool and all, but as a mod you have an obligation to be fair and impartial with disciplinary actions and opinions, as opposed to arbitrary and capricious. Just sayin'.

I'm actually getting a little stocked about the place after seeing that vid.

Looks kinda small and like a mooshbooger; but I've groveled worse and there was one wave where somebody got an easy dozen turns.
