congrats on the thread title dog i will be you're english teacher so as to prevent sentence like before and maybe show spell and grammar
I haven't followed bike technology for the last year or 2 but I would think the carbon frames would get beat up too much on a dh bike. Get enough dings and scratches, then it's catastrophic failure at the worst possible time. Kind of like fins that snap off at the base during a bottom turn at chopes. If you're a pro and get new gear all the time it wouldn't be as much of a problem. But, for insuranceless, pennyless joe six-pack...not a good idea.
the old Cheech would comment on your choice of using "you're" instead of "your" when razzing someone on grammar and spelling. But the new Cheech says, "Nice try Buckaroo! Here's a gold star for being a winner!"
Completely agree, I ride an aluminum Trek EX 6 that looks to be about the same size as pumps, there has been numerous times when riding/ falling over a tree that I know if I had a carbon I would have broken a fork.... Cant fix carbon.
Some of the worst wrecks I've ever seen are headtube/frame separations. Gives me the willies thinking about it.
its crazy when I was a kid,i rode bikes 24/7 and after a while I hated having to ride my bike everywhere and now that im older and havnt rode a bike in over 10 years,it makes me want to ride again.but im far from the trails, its no fun riding around a beachtown.im sure bikes are a lot better since I rode them

I edited the title. It took me a long time to figure out what it meant, so I figured it was worth an edit.
