This is the summer of eternal swell. Many spots glassy and going off this AM, but I didn't paddle until the wind got on it in the afternoon. Went to my lazy spot (which also happens to be offshore when all else is blown out) and got a few little chest-high right-handers in clear blue water all to myself. Around the corner it was BIG, but the wind was on it and the sand is gone. HH to OH all weekend, and a few feet OH Norbert swell for Monday low-tide dawnie. Man, oh man!
We received this NWS high surf advisory at work this afternoon. Our parent command is located in Port Hueneme, CA. http://forecast.weather.gov/wwamap/wwatxtget.php?cwa=usa&wwa=High Surf Advisory
