    thats what it looks like...thursday onshore, friday offshore and blown out

    I'm no pro forecaster, but this looks to me to be a very fast developing/moving system, with not enough time to develop a decent swell. The ability of the wind to develop swell depends on three things... fetch, speed, and duration. Small storms with short fetches and lighter winds, that don't hang around long, are not great wave makers.
