I grew up in the South-- Gulf Coast. Moved to Venezuela in my 20's and was suprised how much it reminded me of home. People aren't in a rush, cook outside, neighbors talk to eachother, women are hot. A lot of open land too for being outdoors.

Even the politicians remind me of the current Dixie hero. Sometimes I imagine Trump is talking in Spanish and he could easily be Chavez or Ortega or Fidel.

And a lot of coast and warm water.

Venezuela wouldn't be my choice right now because of Maduro but Nicaragua or Panama could work nicely.
