Everyone knows that NJ is the only place that gets that big, and it only happens in a secret spot hidden from everyone but NJshredmachine.
Just got back from 77th street where I snapped this pic! So strange that the jetty can be flat while only a few miles away...
Bros, its epic out there! just got back. Got an 7 times overhead pit out there while snow was vblowing in my face! But seriously there is some flurries out there.
which reminds me of a situation at 81st. One Sun morn I parked on the left side of a driveway. Surfed several hours and when I got back to my truck, there was a man watering his yard. I had been looking for a sprinkler to rinse off, and when he asked me how the waves were, I thought I had an opportunity to use his hose. I tolod him how good it was and he said," Oh and I was also wondering HOW IN THE FUG YOU THINK YOU CAN PARK IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE!!! WE JUST GOT BACK FROM CHURCH AND HAD TO PARK ON THE OTHER SIDE OF YOUR TRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!" I responded, "Well, sir, First of all you need to go back to church because that's a very un Christian like attitude you have. Second, there's no signs. Third, I'd advise you not to do that to other surfers if you don't want damage to your shiite" His wife got involved so I told her to call my boss if she had a problem. She called the # on the back of my van, and I answered. It took her a while to catch on. They started threatening me so I rolled up my window and called the li'l wifey so she could hear. They were ready to explode when I finally backed out, and waved another guy into the space. good times. I called the VB parking dept and asked if they had the right to act that way. the answer is no. and No they can't tow you unless you park in front of a drive way. When I went back, I had noticed that where I parked was an indentation. So I cut the guy some slack.
LOL good one McLovin, just when I started to believe VA had no waves, let me grab my wavejet 10' w/onboard heater
I hate when people feel they own everything around there property, or that they deserve something because they live there. People around my surf spot are usually pretty cool. I park in front of their houses and no one has complained. I have received a few confused looks when the locals see me changing out of my wetsuit in a towel in front of their houses. Hey, I can't help it. The suit is cold and wet, and there are no changing rooms in the area.
Is it me or does anyone else have trouble viewing the cams on s**fline? I've allowed everything I can find in my browser but it still won't work. I've allowed scripts, flash, shockwave, cookies (3rd party ones too) and popups. I had to do the same thing before their redesign too.
The last time I ever surfed the North End, they skipped the "dirty looks" part and just went straight to sticking nails into my tires while I was in the water.
now that we are on the topic, the north end sucks. That steel pier thing was cool, but now that it's gone, eff it, you guys can have it.
Seems to be working for me, when is the last time you updated your Adobe? If it's been a while, give that a shot and see what happens.
